KNITTING 101
Beginning level class
3 Tuesday evening sessions: September 11 & 25 and October 2
7:00-9:00 PM
Instructor: Kimberlee Rohloff
Cost: $90.00
Materials: Size 7 needles
Scrap worsted weight yarn
Yarn for a scarf to be chosen during 2nd session at the shop.
Get the fall off to a great start by learning to knit. From casting on to knitting, purling and casting off, you will learn the basics and get started on your first scarf.
SOCKS 101
3 Monday evening sessions: September 24 and October 1 & 8
7:00-9:00 PM

Materials: Size 5 double-pointed needles
Ann Norling Soock pattern (available at Woolworks)
DK weight sock yarn: 1, 100gm ball or 2, 50gm balls for a total of approximately 400 yds.
If you've never knit socks, now is the time to learn how to do a fun and portable knitting project.
LACE KNITTING
3 Monday evening sessions, October 15 & 29 and November 12
7:00-9:00 PM
Instructor: Kim Rohloff
Cost: $90.00
Materials: Available on the first night of class (book, lace weight yarn, needles)
Lace knitting is hotter than ever and we've got the most gorgeous materials to choose from. Kim Rohloff is a master lace knitter, having won prizes at the Sheep & Wool Festival and the Maryland State Fair. This is an intermediate level class.
Two weeks are between each class so that you may progress on the lace project of your choosing.NEXT STEP SOCKS

Materials: Size 0-3 double pointed needles
Sock yarn (fingering weight) to complete a pair of socks

If you've mastered socks and want to move to the next level of patterning, sign up for this class. You will choose a pattern from Nancy Bush's Knitting on the Road and go from there.
BEADED SCARF
2 Sunday sessions, October 21 & 28
2:00 - 4:00 PM
Instructor: Karen Brehm
Cost: $65.00
Materials: Size 6 needle
Size 6 seed beads (approx 1,000)
430 yards of Rowan Wool Cotton or comparably gauged yarn

Knit a gorgeous beaded scarf with Karen Brehm, a master knitter. This two-part class will take you from raw materials to a beautiful, sparkling scarf.
CONTINENTAL KNITTING
1 Sunday session, October 21
Instructor: Kimberlee Rohloff
Cost: $35.00
Materials: Needles and scrap yarn
If you've ever wanted to switch to the Continental style of knitting, this is your chance. This one session workshop will teach you the tricks of the trade from a Continental knitting expert.
CLASS SIGN UP PROCEDURE: Please come to the shop or call to sign up for any of the fall offerings. Payment is accepted at sign up by check, credit card or cash. A materials list will be provided at that time for all classes. Materials are not included in the cost of the class.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Please advise us a.s.a.p. if you are unable to attend the class so we may notify our waiting list. Participants may cancel up to one week prior to the first class for a refund. No fees will be refunded after that date.
